This thought. That moon. A new year checked in soon.

I happened to steal a glance at the moon yesterday night on my way back home from office. It was neither full nor half; it was fading out — a phase that could be seen as one trudging towards completion or one sprinting in the direction of the end. I wonder if I was not aware of the fact that the moon has to move towards its completion and then gradually diminish, then would my thoughts take a positive or a negative turn.

Maybe the clouds from our head happen to spring out and hover over the sublime shades of the moon whenever we are gloomy. But toward the end of a happy day, a friendly moon peeps from behind the clouds in the blue. The happier we are, the warmer is winter. The gloomier we are, the breezier summer is. This year, I yet again find myself awaiting the varied seasons with their own set of paintbrushes and hues of temperature.

Happy New Year :)
